Children and Families Bill
7th June 2013
UKAP's Better Futures Campaign aims to improve early detection of ADHD in schools by influencing politicians and policymakers, most recently through lobbying on the Children and Families Bill which began its passage through Parliament in May 2013. The Bill aims to reform current legislation around Special Education Needs, along with other issues such as family justice and childcare. Through meetings with MPs and Peers and by submitting evidence on ADHD and its impact, we aim to push ADHD up the political agenda and build better futures for children affected by the condition.
